John Daniszewski

John Daniszewski is vice president for standards and editor at large at The Associated Press. He was a global correspondent for two decades for the AP and the Los Angeles Times, covering wars and conflicts in the Middle East, Africa and the Balkans. He was shot and wounded during the Romanian revolution of 1989 and has been involved in helping to enhance journalists’ safety for much of his career, including as a co-founder of the ACOS alliance.
