Sandrine Rigaud

Sandrine Rigaud is a French investigative journalist and filmmaker who most recently served as editor-in-chief of Forbidden Stories, a global network of journalists pursuing the work of silenced journalists. She is the co-author with Laurent Richard of Pegasus: How a Spy in Your Pocket Threatens the End of Privacy, Dignity, and Democracy. 

Since 2019, she has coordinated many cross-border investigations including the Pegasus Project and the Cartel Project, which won the George Polk Award in 2020 and 2021, respectively. She is a 2025 Nieman Fellow.
