Elyse Samuels is the Senior Producer of The Washington Post’s Visual Forensics team. She is a founding reporter on the team, which launched in the summer of 2020. Earlier this year, she shared in The Post’s Pulitzer Prize for her work reconstructing the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. Elyse joined The Post’s Video department in 2016 where she has worked as a Facebook Live producer, breaking news video editor, and the team’s first verification video editor.
