Warren P. Strobel is U.S. diplomatic editor for Thomson Reuters and a former foreign affairs correspondent in McClatchy’s Washington, D.C. bureau. Among other awards, he was part of a team that won a 2005 National Headliner’s Award for "How the Bush Administration Went to War in Iraq."
