Shaul Amsterdamski, a 2019 Nieman Fellow, is the economics editor and a commentator at <a href="https://www.kan.org.il/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kan</a>, Israel’s public broadcasting corporation, where he covers macroeconomics, the pension system, the ministry of finance and major economic events. He previously worked as a senior reporter and commentator at Calcalist, Israel’s most-read business daily, where he was a senior reporter and commentator on topics such as the national budget, the political economy, macroeconomics and the health system.
