Shaheen Pasha, a 2018 Knight Visiting Nieman Fellow, is an assistant teaching professor of journalism at Penn State University. She is also the co-founder and co-executive director of the Prison Journalism Project, an educational and publishing initiative aimed at amplifying the voices of incarcerated men and women. Previously, she worked as a reporter at CNNMoney and Thomson Reuters, and as the Middle East regional editor for The Brief, a legal magazine published by Thomson Reuters. She is part of the Spring 2021 Entrepreneurial Journalism Creators Program at CUNY Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism.
