Peter Osnos, who founded PublicAffairs, an independent publishing company, in 1997, was a foreign correspondent and editor for The Washington Post. He is a senior fellow for media at The Century Foundation and wrote a weekly column about media, called “The Platform,” for The Century Foundation.
