<a href="http://www.petermshane.com/">Peter M. Shane</a> served as executive director of the <a href="http://www.knightcomm.org/">Knight Commission on the Information Needs of Communities in a Democracy</a>. He is the Jacob E. Davis and Jacob E. Davis II Chair in Law at the Moritz College of Law at Ohio State University. During 2011-12, he was a visiting professor of law at Harvard Law School.
