Nicholas Diakopoulos is an expert on computational and data journalism. He is the director of the Computational Journalism Lab (CJL) and an assistant professor in the School of Communication at Northwestern University and is also a Tow Fellow at Columbia Journalism School. He is the author of “Automating the News: How Algorithms are Rewriting the Media” (Harvard University Press, 2019).
