Laura Secor completed in May 2009 a fellowship at The New York Public Library’s Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers, where she was working on a forthcoming book, “Fugitives from Paradise: A Biography of Iran’s Movement for Democracy.” She has written on Iran for The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine, and The New Republic.
