Kanak Mani Dixit

Kanak Mani Dixit is editor of Himal Southasian and publisher of Himal Khabarpatrika. He started his career in journalism with an article in The Rising Nepal in 1971. In 2006 during the toppling of the royal regime, he was arrested and spent several weeks in jail, where he gave interviews by cell phone and wrote articles clandestinely.
