Juliet Eilperin is The Washington Post’s White House bureau chief. An 18-year veteran of the Post, she covered the 2008 presidential campaign and five congressional campaigns. She is the author of two books, including “Fight Club Politics: How Partisanship is Poisoning the House of Representatives,” published in 2006.
