Eduardo Suárez is a Spanish reporter and entrepreneur who is currently the head of communications at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford. He got his start in journalism as a foreign correspondent in London, New York, and Brussels for the Spanish newspaper El Mundo, and he is a co-founder of the Spanish digital newspaper El Español and of Politibot, an innovative news outlet that engages with its audience through a podcast and through conversation in messaging apps. Eduardo has covered two U.S. presidential campaigns, the last one for Univision. In 2014, he was awarded the International Journalism Prize Gabriel García Márquez for a story on the lasting impact of the environmental disaster of the Exxon Valdez.
