Clarence Jones

Clarence Jones, a 1964 Nieman Fellow, was a Washington correspondent for The Miami Herald from 1968 to 1970 before joining WHAS-TV in Louisville Kentucky. He then returned to Miami to WPLG-TV from 1972 to 1984. Subsequently, he was a media consultant for newsmakers. He has written several books, and chronicles his career in “They’re Gonna Murder You: War Stories from My Life at the News Front.”
