Brigitte Alfter is a freelance journalist covering European affairs and a co-founder of <a href="http://i-scoop.org/">Scoop</a>, <a href="http://www.farmsubsidy.org/">Farmsubsidy.org</a>, <a href="http://www.wobbing.eu/">the Wobbing network</a>, and the <a href="http://www.journalismfund.eu/">European Fund for Investigative Journalism</a>. She was a co-winner of the Investigative Reporters and Editors' Freedom of Information Award in 2006 when she was a European affairs correspondent for the Danish newspaper Information.
